Spiritual Gifts: Finding Your Unique Purpose
Hello brothers and sisters,
I wanted to chat with you about spiritual gifts. They play such an important part in discovering our divine purpose and in building a loving community of faith.
Understanding Spiritual Gifts
It amazes me how God has blessed each of us with unique spiritual gifts through the Holy Spirit. It's as the Bible says:
"There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone, it is the same God at work." - 1 Corinthians 12:4-6

We're all given these wonderful gifts to nurture, cherish, and utilize in the service of God and one another.
Discovering Our Spiritual Gifts
If you're not sure how to find your spiritual gifts, fear not. Here's a friendly little guide to help you out:
Pray: Take some time to pray, asking God to reveal His gifts within you.
Study Scripture: Check out Bible verses like Romans 12:6-8 and 1 Corinthians 12:4-6. They're a great starting point to learn about various spiritual gifts.
Reflect: Think back on the times when you felt overwhelming joy while serving others. There might be some clues there about your spiritual gifts.
Connect with Friends: Reach out to people who know you well, friends, pastors, fellow believers—you name it! They can share valuable insights based on their observations with you.
Online Assessment: Feel free to try out an online spiritual gifts test from GiftsTest.com. It's quick and easy but provides a lot of insight.
Putting Our Gifts into Action
Lastly, let's look for ways to use our spiritual gifts in our faith community and beyond. Like Peter says in the Bible:
"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms." - 1 Peter 4:10
Our contribution, big or small, strengthens the bond within our spiritual family and helps us get the most from these divine gifts. Also, FYI, my spiritual gifts are discernment and giving!
So, let's be thankful to God for the unique blessings He's gifted us with, and let's commit ourselves wholeheartedly to using our spiritual gifts for His glory and to serve those around us.
Sending you lots of prayers and blessings,
Mike
